Charity Fashion Show – Celebrates its Third Year At McMaster

Hamilton, ON. March 18, 2008- INFUSION Canada Hamilton chapter will hold the 3rd annual charity fashion show, School of Walk, on Friday April 4th, 2008. The event will be held at the McMaster University Student Centre in CIBC Hall at 8:00pm.

Ticket sales begin this week and can be purchased in the McMaster Student Centre March 25-27 and April 1-3 from 10am-2pm.Tickets are 20 dollars and can also be purchased by e-mailing fashionhamilton@hotmail.com. VIP seating for media is also available by contacting Breghan Paterson at breghan.paterson@infusioncanada.org.

This year’s show features up and coming student designer Cassie Blackman and promises to be an evening of fashion and fun for all.

Run entirely by students, INFUSION Canada is a federally registered charity that focuses on fostering innovation, leadership and growth in young Canadians supporting cancer survival. By encouraging the active participation of cancer patients and cancer survivors in the recovery process, INFUSION helps by forming support groups, creating opportunities for awareness and education, and developing life and leadership skills.

In addition to providing support, INFUSION Canada is primarily a fundraising group that raises funds to help cancer survivors reach their goals through post-secondary education. The annual fashion show is the Hamilton chapter’s primary fundraising event.
