INFUSION Offers Unique Academic Internship Positions to MIT Students

INFUSION 2004, was originally one of The University of Western Ontario's 125th Anniversary celebrations. It is the biggest fashion extravaganza and charity organization at the University. This year INFUSION 2004 has created two academic internship positions through Susan Weekes, for MIT students. If all goes well, over half the available positions will be academic internship positions for MIT students. Some of the positions may include Public Relations Director, Media Executive, Web Design and many more. The positions are practical and professionally valuable; a remarkable opportunity for MIT students.

INFUSION 2004 is a unique charity beyond these internship positions. The non-profit organization is sponsored by the London Health Science Foundation and the Childhood Cancer Foundation. This year INFUSION’S goal is to raise over $15,000 in charitable money. The funds will help finance the post-secondary education of several cancer survivors who could not afford an education otherwise, due to the costs of cancer treatment.

The production itself features a combination of highly choreographed dance, lip-synch, modeling, a cutting edge D.J. and multimedia graphics on large scale projection screens.
