Bandanas for a reason Re: “Bandanas: the trend that needs to die,”
Sept. 29, 2004 - UWO Gazette My friends and I recently joined in the bandana-wearing craze. You’re right,– “there ain’t no crips or bloods here”, just a bunch of people who support cancer awarness. Hopefully you’ll never have to visit a cancer ward because you would be really annoyed — everyone there wears bandanas. My friends and I wear bandanas because someone we know is recovering from cancer. You would be surprised at the amount of students who attend Western that have been affected by or have actually had cancer themselves. Maybe you could spend some time supporting a cancer fundraiser (there are more than a few right here at Western) since you seem to be really passionate about important issues. Megan Thomson MIT IV
